Privacy notice
This notice explains how WageVerge handles personal data on its public website. It does not cover the WageVerge product itself, where each customer’s employer is responsible for its employees’ data and the in-product confidentiality policy applies.
What we collect, and why
When you contact us
If you use the contact form we collect the details you give us: your name, work email, company, phone number, country, the number of people you pay, what you are interested in, and your message. We use them to reply and to arrange a walkthrough. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where you ask for it, steps taken at your request before a contract.
Cookies and measurement
We use two kinds of optional cookies, and only if you accept them in the cookie banner:
- Visit measurement. Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are useful; Microsoft Clarity records anonymised interaction patterns on this website (not on the product) to help us fix confusing pages.
- Where you came from. A first-party cookie,
wv_attr, stores the page and campaign that first brought you here (for example a search engine or a link we shared), for up to 90 days. If you later sign up, the product records it so that we can tell which content helps people. It holds no name, email or other personal detail.
Your choice is remembered in your browser. You can change it any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. If you decline, none of these are set.
Security checks
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser; see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
Technical logs
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability.
Who handles it
We use these service providers to run the website, each acting on our instructions: Cloudflare (hosting, delivery and Turnstile), Google (Analytics, if you accept), Microsoft (Clarity, if you accept), and our email provider (to deliver enquiries to our sales inbox). Enquiry details are stored in the WageVerge platform’s own database. We do not sell personal data and we do not share your enquiry with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you become a customer, in which case they form part of the customer record. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics account, which we limit to 14 months.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent for cookies at any time. Write to [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our reply you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page when what we do changes, and show the date at the top.
